And now may the Lord bless you and keep you.

May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you.

And may God grant unto you His peace-in your going out and in your coming in,

In your lying down and in your rising up,

In your labor and in your leisure,

In your laughter and in your tears,

Until you come to stand before Jesus

In that day in which there is no sunset and no dawning.

Amen

2 family members with dimensia

My MIL has been diagnosed by two doctors as having initial symptoms of demensia.  She is having short term memory problems.  My DH is also having problems with short term memory loss.

MIL is in a nursing home only because of her age and problems with falls -- initially.  Now after three plus years she has been diagnosed.  This hit my DH hard.  He is having problems dealing with his mother's illness and the symptoms.  Although he has not connected his difficulties with those I deal with as his care giver I  hope that he will make the connection.  Soon!  It will help him handle the emotions of dealing the MIL.

Please keep praying for all dementia patients, their families and care givers and all who know of dementia patients.
